Hi there! I’m Lily — an Amsterdam-based freelance writer, photographer & creative director.

As a curious traveler, I love exploring the world through the intersection of culture and creativity.

GET TO KNOW ME

Raised by artists, I grew up in Florida and traveled the globe with my family. This unique upbringing formed my respect and appreciation for other cultures, and the importance of incorporating creativity into daily life.

In 2009, I traded Florida's swamps for a gap year along Amsterdam's canals. The adventure continued when I stayed Amsterdam for grad school which began contributing to travel publications like iAmsterdam, Fodor’s Guidebooks, Lonely Planet, and more. I’ve found joy in defining my own path. I hope that my blog inspires you to do the same!
